I never thought it was possible to fall in love without ever having met. But as I sit here and write this letter, I can't help but feel butterflies as I await with anticipation our first meeting in just a few short hours. I've only been able to hear and listen to first-hand accounts from those who have come before me. And although we haven't yet met face to face, I feel like I already know you.
Maybe it's because you've already spoiled me from a distance. You have plans to roll out the red carpet for me upon my arrival. You have plans to feed me until I can eat no more. And you have plans to surround me with some seriously amazalicious peeps from around the country that I've grown to admire. You have eased my "new kid on the block" nerves by allowing me to meet your long time family of five years, even before I get there. You have opened up your birthday party to me, and I plan to help you celebrate in style!
