As a blogger ambassador and correspondent for this event, I have received compensation for my participation. As always, all opinions are my own.
I seriously cannot believe that we are more than halfway through with the year. I’ve had some pretty amazing moments and opportunities this year, and being asked to be a blogger ambassador for the Ubiquitous Hair and Health Trade Show is one of them. This trade show is unique in that it is committed to building the community as a whole by being THE destination for where relaxed meets natural hair, health and fun.
If you are in or near the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virgina) area, you NEED to meet me at the Washington Convention Center on August 22nd & 23rd! I want to see your face all up in the place. In addition to being an ambassador/correspondent, I will also be speaking at the event as well. I’ll be joined by two other fabulous bloggers, Ty of Gorgeous in Grey and Nicole of Naptural Nicole AKA ScOprah. Did I mention that our photos (the image below) is also floating around on DC metro buses?! 😉
The inaugural event was so amazing last year (so much so, they were even featured on Black Enterprise TV), that they had to get a bigger venue for this year. I’m really excited to hear from the different speakers as well as celebrities that will be there like Chante Moore, Maurette Brown Clarke, Kim Kimble and Ledisi. This will be a star-studded event that brings together women (and a few good men) together to celebrate our hair, our community and our health.
Be sure to follow Ubiquitous on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter so you can get a chance to win during their 12 days of giveaways leading up to the event! And when you purchase your tickets for the event in advance, you also save yourself $5. Just go to UbiquitousHairAndHealthShow.com for more information.
I hope to see many of you at the Ubiquitous Hair and Health Show next week! And please let me know if you plan to attend.
Here is a quick Periscope video I did when I announced my opportunity with Ubiquitous:
Have you attended an event like this before? What were some of the things you looked forward to while there?
