If your family is anything like mine, then regular ice cream runs are a normal part of summer. However, regular ice cream runs can make it harder to fit into your clothes as the weeks go by. If your children are eating other sweets, regular ice cream runs can also negatively affect their behavior and appetites.
Most of us want to raise healthy kids who have a healthy relationship with food. This requires modeling and teaching them healthy eating behaviors from the start.
