2017 Mitsubishi Mirage: 3 People This Car is Perfect For #DriveMitsubishi

Disclosure: Thanks to DriveShop USA, I was given the 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage to test drive for a week. As always, all opinions are my own.

I am back with another car review thanks to our friends over at Drive Shop USA! Being that my husband and I are in search for new cars, it’s been great to be able to test-drive various cars without the pressure of going into a traditional car dealership.

When I’m reviewing cars, I’m reviewing from my own personal perspective and whether or not it’s a good fit for my family of five. So this review is no different.

While the 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage isn’t perfect for our family, here are three people that this car just might be perfect for:

1. The person in need of A-to-B Transportation

Living in the DC Metro area, I know first-hand about the hours that people spend on the road. My longest commute when I was working in corporate was 50+ miles (one way). I needed an oil change like once a month. I had a car that was similar in size and I’m so glad I did because that was a lot of wear and tear. At that point in time, I didn’t need to have an expensive car to rack up all that mileage on. So if you just need something to get you from point A to point B, check out the Mirage.

2. The person who has a driving teenager

When I think back to when I first started driving, the only thing I wanted after getting my license was a car to drive. Luckily, I was able to drive my parents’ car quite a bit before getting my own several years later. Looking back, I would’ve been excited to get something like the Mirage. It’s perfect for someone learning how to drive (especially in a city that requires a lot of parallel parking skills). So parents: if you’re thinking of getting your child a car, I qualify the Mirage as a great starter vehicle. Your teen will never have to try and squeeze into packed parking lots or crowded side streets.

3. The person who doesn’t need much space

I have to keep it real. I’m 5’9 with a family of five. Hubby’s tall and everyone always thinks our kids are much older than they are because of their height. So while this cute little car is not perfect for us, it is surely perfect for someone that doesn’t need as much room as we do. If you don’t do much traveling and not worried about trunk space, then this car might just be for you.

Once I caught wind of it, I will always and forever be a fan of Apple CarPlay, and the Mirage didn’t disappoint in that area. I am all about convenience and good music, and this is what CarPlay means for me. This was one of my favorite features.

Apple CarPlay allows you to use your smartphone in a safer and smarter way.

What say you? Have you driven the 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage? What are must-haves you look for when purchasing a vehicle?

I was speaking with my teen this morning about getting their first car. Im so nervous about my baby being on the road but a car like this would be a great fit.

I can’t even imagine that Jazz! But I now understand what my parents went through LOL. This is the perfect car for a teen and one that a parent can feel comfortable with them driving.
